Yes, England’s sensational progressive rock artists, are bringing their signature sounds to the Riverside Theater!
The band was formed in 1968 by bassist Chris Squire and vocalist Jon Anderson. They’ve had numerous line-up changes over the years and the group is currently made up of singer Jon Davison, guitarist Steve Howe, bass guitarist Billy Sherwood, keyboardist Geoff Downes, and drummer Alan White. They have a distinct musical style composed of mystical lyrics, live stage sets, and lengthy compositions (often with complex instrumental and vocal arrangements). They’ve had a stellar career with 21 studio albums (9 of which reached the top 10 in either the UK or US), 10 live albums, 32 compilation albums, 34 singles and 19 videos. They won a Grammy Award in 1985 for Best Rock Instrumental Performance for the instrumental track, Cinema. Their album titled 90125 and its single, Owner of a Lonely Heart, also got Grammy nominations in the Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals and Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group With Vocals categories, respectively.
