Kenneth Ray Rogers was born in 1938 and was a member of various bands before starting his solo career in 1976. That career has culminated in 37 studio albums, 80 singles, and an induction into the Country Music Hall of Fame. His 1980 album (Greatest Hits) was certified Diamond (i.e. 12 times Platinum) in US and Canada and hit #1 on the Billboard 200 chart. He’s received multiple awards; the AMAs, Grammys, ACMs and CMAs, as well as a lifetime achievement award. Linda Kaye Davis was born in Texas in 1962 and began her musical journey by singing on a local radio show at age 6. She moved to Nashville when she was 20 and became part of the duo Skip and Linda. They had 3 singles in Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart after which Linda began working on her solo career. She’s released 5 studio albums, 16 singles, and her 1993 duet with Reba McEntire (Does He Love You) won both singers a Grammy Award for Best Country Vocal Collaboration.
